I know I’ve been MIA for a few months, but fret no more – we’ve been doing lots of great things and working with some awesome people – and I’m going to recap you on all of it!

Today is the day to complete our mission.
so the excitement builds.
We have 1 and a half days left to complete our shade structures…
That’s the final destination now – to build a number of structures to provide shade for people in public spaces in and around Harare!
I’m in Harare for HIFA – the Harare International Festival of the Arts. I’m making a public work with 5 talented local craft designers. We’re going to use lots of waste plastic and other previously used materials. I’ll post pictures as we work… This is one inspiring city.
I was inspired by my walk to give some public space a bit of attention.
I attached a paper napkin to the hand-rail outside the SIWA (the only local grocery/everything store in Fiskars). It was GONE in the morning.
I even said thank you very much on it, and I wrote the word art…
